Steven Neuhaus, Ph.D., is a clinical and forensic psychologist. He received a BA from City College of New York and MS.R. and Ph.D. degrees from St. Louis University, majoring in clinical psychology. His clinical practice includes counseling and psychotherapy with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Treatment modalities include cognitive behavioral, crisis/problem focused treatment and psycho-dynamic psychotherapy. Forensic practice includes criminal, juvenile delinquency, domestic relations/child custody and visitation, civil injury, malpractice, and disability evaluations; psychological testing of children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Neuhaus has testified in numerous Ohio State Court proceedings in the last four years. His testimony has been in Courts of Common Pleas, General Division, Domestic Relations and Juvenile Division.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Neuhaus is a consultant with the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court Diagnostic Clinic and a medical expert with the Social Security System-Office of Disability Adjudication Review. He is also a consulting psychologist for the Summit County Psycho-Diagnostic Clinic.
